Simple Tuna and Mayo Canapes
1 can of Tuna flakes with oil.(drain the oil)
Salt and Pepper
5 tablespoons of Mayonnaise
Half loaf of Baguette or french loaf.
2 tablespoon Curry Powder
2 cubes of butter
Drain off the oil from the tuna on the sift. Place tuna flakes into bowl add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper into tuna and mix well. Then add 2 tablespoon of curry powder and mix. Add 5 tablespoonful of Mayonnaise into bowl and mix well with the tuna. Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly. You will get a smooth texture of the filling as the end result. Set aside and cover with cling film and chill in fridge until ready to use. Cut baguettes an inch thick slices. Butter top side and place onto baking tray to toast in the oven for 1 to 2 minutes on medium heat. Once toasted, set aside to cool. Scoop a spoonful of tuna filling onto the baguette and to add kick to the filling, add chilli flakes on top (optional). Once all the portions done up, cut a small slice of tomato, garnish with parsley and ready to serve.
